I am pleased to announce that I will be singing the roles of Nancy (Britten Albert Herring) and Idamante (Mozart Idomeneo) in the Guildhall School's upcoming Autumn Term Opera Scenes. These scenes will be directed by Dominic Wheeler and Martin Lloyd-Evans. Production is well underway and I am very excited to present scenes from these two fantastic operas to audiences in the Milton Court Studio Theatre on 26, 27, 30 November and 1 December. For more information and to book tickets, visit the Guildhall School of Music & Drama website www.gsmd.ac.uk.

I am thrilled to announce that I was awarded the Freda Parry Scholarship following an open competition on 5th September.

I competed against other singers from the Essex area for the £1200 scholarship award, singing a programme of Bach, Head, Poulenc and Rossini. The competition was adjudicated by Essex-born tenor James Edwards (www.thetenor.co.uk).

The Award will contribute to the cost of my studies on the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. I am incredibly grateful to the Freda Parry Scholarship Trust for their support of my studies.

In the Spring, I will perform in a fundraising concert for the Trust in the Southend area. More details to follow!

By popular demand, I'm organising an evening of operatic and light vocal music in my hometown of Tonbridge. I have invited a group of fellow graduates of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama to St. Saviour's Church on Dry Hill Park Crescent to perform a varied programme of vocal repertoire - there will surely be something for everyone! in the past, these concerts have sold our fast, so phone 01732 356 495 now to reserve your tickets early! It's going to be a great night.

See you there!

I am delighted to announce that I will be joining the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in September 2015. The two year course is an intensive study of all things oepra, during which I will continue to hone my vocal technique, stagecraft, and stylistic approach. I am thrilled to have been offered a place on this prestigeous course and can't wait to get started in September!
