I am delighted to announce that I will be performing alonside colleagues from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in a double bill of surreal operas by Czech composer, Bohuslav Martinů. Ariane and Alexandre Bis will both be sung in their original French language. I will be performing the role of Philomène, a meddling maid in a comic yet surreal 40-minute Alexandre Bis set in 1930's Paris.

The production is directed by Rodula Gaitanou and Tim Redmond.

Performances are 31st May, 2nd, 4th, and 6th June at 7pm, at the Silk Street Theatre, Guildhall School of Music & Drama. I am double cast and my performances will be 2nd and 6th June.

Hope to see you there!

The Autumn Term 2016 opera has been annouced this week, and it is another double bill! This time, two operas by Russian composers.

The first, Stravinksy's Mavra (sung in English) is the lesser known of the two, in which I play The Neighbour. At only 30 minutes long, it serves as an appetiser for the main course: the rather better known Iolanta by Tchaikovsky, sung in the original Russian, in which I will sing the role of Laura.

Both will be directed by Kelly Robinson and conducted by Dominic Wheeler.

I am immensley looking forward to starting work on these wonderful operas.

Each role offers its own challenges and I am looking forward to working on them with Director Kelly Robinson and Music Director Liz Rowe.

London performances take place on 16, 17, 22 March at 7pm, with a 2pm matinee on Saturday 19 March. As with the last set of scenes, the venue will be the Milton Court Studio Theatre.
